Inspired by the stupid russian song - it's hard to translate it's name into english (for me), but the main idea is the desire of alcoholic to be nearer the death, because he never seen the "sky" ( - meaning some upper world above us), and he wants to see it so much. He's getting closer and closer to death using the power of gradual alcohol poisoning as his own preferable method.
This song is very stupid, but very famous in our countries. Don't know how, it's really touched my heart

...actually, here in Serbia we have amazing countless number of such even more stupid songs or "singers" wanna be celebrities ..so, I can easily imagine about what are you saying here..

to tell the truth, it is not so stupid song as some others)) we also have many of these "celebrities" who usually make songs about some "pervert forms of love" - this is my own term, I use it when I try to describe, what the pop music is all about)))
I don't know much about the music art of the guy, who wrote this song, but his songs are not about "love" and stuff. he likes to write a texts about "healthy males' values" - like vodka, sluts, and alcoholic hangover. of course his music and texts are the outstanding shit too, but they're made for the proper target audience. Some people say, in real life this guy is very intelligent person. God knows, is it true or not, I don't know, and I don't care))))

in Serbia such "music genre" is called - "turbo folk" and it's the worst possible type of "music"

Sorry to butt in....Interesting and an enlightening conversation

"Healthy male values" geeze. here you find that crap in "Country music" and hip hop. disclaimer: not all of it is bad. As much as cultures differ, they are the same. Pop music in all it's forms needs to die along with the attitudes that create and support it.

agree..only have to add this...The "pop" of everything, or in anything should be avoid.. "pop"living style,"pop culture", "pop religion", "pop art", "pop science"....everything that exists in this everyday pop-matrix form of pop-reality...that kills life itself and true human identity...if you are able to understand this...
